I cant believe how negative most of these reviews are! I use this app everyday when I want to browse thru artwork, and it works perfectly fine for me on my iPhone 5s. The new update even allows you to FINALLY view animations! The only thing it needs now is the ability to add emoticons in comments.

Before the last app update, I could see and access my favourites just fine. I can still do so on the online version. I requested that my problem be fixed. I was told to logout, and or delete the app. I did both, multiple times. Neither of these solutions helped. This is why Im currently giving this app zero stars.

I have had a lot of recent problems with the app, but one that Im currently having is being unable to submit without an error box popping up and talking about "text/html." I would honestly be able to handle this better if it told me the error in "normal people speak," because not all of us are freaking good programmers. I could honestly deal with all the other problems this app has—no resizing, no watermark, no gallery categories—but this error problem is really annoying. The app doesnt reflect the websites quality, but its the only way I can upload anything at all.

I have deviantart and I want to have core membership but in the app I dont know how to do it.

This app is great! Its a lot less buggy now and its stable. The design is sleek and its really easy to use. I use a separate app to draw and stuff, so uploading straight to the DeviantArt app helps keep the quality unlike an emailed version would. The only thing this app really needs is the option to subscribe from the AppStore. Users should be able to purchase a Core Membership from the app, and be billed to iTunes etc. itd make it a lot easier to keep track of transactions for users without credit cards. Please just take it into consideration. Really love this app, honestly!

I really LOVE DA but I wish I didnt need core membership to change my username. My "friend" put in "AlaskaTheFangirl" as my username and I told him not to because Im non-binary. But the jerk did it anyway. I cant get core membership and I dont want people using female pronouns for me and then when I correct them they say that my username says "fangirl".

The deviantart app is fairly decent I could say. Not the very best, but okay. I only use it well to browse art and stuff just normal things you would of regularly on the desktop. Sometimes it logs you out, you would log back in but it keeps saying "Cant log you in." Or "Incorrect username." It sometimes does that occasionally. Other than that there are more cons. You cant send notes, you cant delete the notifications unless you actually go to the website and delete it for yourself. And the watch feed is a little buggy cause I want notifications separately from the artists. Its still time to get used to it but like I said not the greatest but decent. Youll get something out of it I guess. So I give it a 3.1 out of five stars.

All I wanted to do was draw on it not browse or anything like that just draw!!! And I have no idea how I tried to figure it out but even after 2 hours Im still clueless.

This has all the basic things of the online deviantart but its missing two necessary things, a delete button, and an edit button, i messed up and made a post twice and i cant do anything about it but stare, and i also messed up horribly on some writings but cant edit the post unlike the normal deviantart, who thought it was a good idea to not have these in the first place, please add

While this does work for the basics of deviantART, its missing a lot of the basic functionality that I believe the mobile site itself has. For example, a deviants "All" and "Scraps" galleries appear impossible to browse. Some user pages tend to load incredibly slowly, freezing the app either until the desired page finally shows up or until the app crashes. As more of a lurker than a submitter, I cant say too much about the submitting side of things, but Ive heard that editing deviations isnt really possible yet. But the app works, and its deviantART. I still use the app for its relative convenience - checking notifications and the Watch feed are both easy to do. If you wanted deviantART in an app, this will do the job, though there may be some frustrations. Use the mobile site instead if you desire further functionality and probable better performance.

It is as good as the website on a computer

The vast and incredible collection of deviantart finally has a quality app on iPhone and iPad. Initially, the iPad experience needed work, but subsequent updates have addressed that, and really solidified the experience. Browsing on my iPhone or iPad Pro is great, and there are so many excellent artists whose work I can easily explore and enjoy now. I really think deviantart is great for the art community. Thanks for a great app!

Did I miss something? No ability to play flash files? Really? No ability to play images as a slideshow? These are fundamental to DA on my desktop, but nonexistent in this supposed "official" app. Also if a folder contains a large number of images this app will sometimes just crash when viewing from that large folder. If you check info on a particular image, instead of returning you back to that image it returns you to the category for that image, requiring you to repeat your search to get back to where you should have been returned to in the first place

Everything is working properly except for gifs they wont start

So, I was really looking forward to getting an account. The app worked great for about a day. Now it doesnt let me upload anything, always giving me some sort of "unacceptable text" error. Ive even tried posting with no caption, tags, or title. Please fix this. My pictures are all on my phone, and I dont always have access to a computer.

Burn the admins. This site has the worst admins ive ever seen. And burn the community too, its just a gay cancer fest. Seriously. Burn them

No access to the chats and I cant upload my work. It wont let me. It would be nice to have a separate app just for the chats.

Its really hard to believe an app for Artists doesnt have a landscape tablet mode. Come on Deviant. Especially with the iPad Pro 12.9, its unusable.
