Great layout and artists but this app crashes all the time and you have to start at the beginning of where you were. Extremely frustrating!

To the app development team of DA, Before I start this review, Id like to say I hope you guys read these reviews and take them seriously, as many people deserve a quality built app if they are subscribed to a service they pay for. As a 6 year DA user and an experienced app developer/designer, I can only say two things. One, DA is by far the best Art community there is on the internet. Two, You can tell the app developers were more focused on design rather than content. I expect a huge update in the near focused more on a very minimal interface disregarding all the extra sparkles. More content and options would make it a basic standard. The objective of a modern day app should include a mobile perspective and experience of a desktop website; this includes many to all options that can be configured on a desktop should be done so on the app itself. Crap app. Doesnt do anything good. Apparently I dont even have deviations

Favorites still not working.... 6 Months it has been down.

When I started the update it what it was supposed to. I come to the app later and I have to sign in, when I do that I look at my watch and favorites everything is gone. Please fix this, I cant even watch people who I were watching it doesnt work.

I understand that the app is still very new, but it could use many changes. The first is sta.sh support on the app. One of DeviantArts largest communities is the tokotas sect. They are required to use sta.sh to enjoy what they do. Segwaying from that, support for groups would be impeccable. Groups are one of the best parts about DeviantArt and the fact that mobile users cant use the groups feature is frustrating among other things. If you could please remove the ability to favorite your own deviation, thatd be grand. The last thing to say is about the most recent (and most necessary) update. Ive run into an issue where the button icon showing I have a DeviantArt notification doesnt go away even after Ive checked the notification. I do like this app, and it is improving a lot and making the DeviantArt community easier for me to be a part of.

This app gradually deteriorated. I cant do anything on the app now not even go through my own folders. Please fix it.

For some reason since the update it continuously says that I have a notification by showing the red circle with the number one in side of it. Of course I can never have these on my home screen and its driving me nuts.

This app used to be amazing. I was able to do pretty much anything I needed to on the go, now whether I have a new notification or not, it says I do, which is annoying to say the least. Especially if you are trying to work with someone on a project. It also has now made it to where most of my submissions are unable to be viewed on my device, even when I am logged in properly. So I cant see comments or leave replies to comments that have been left for me. That being said, this app has deteriorated seriously and needs to have an update removed, or the mess that has been made needs fixed. Either way happy fixing people are unhappy.

It has a few downsides and limitations (and a little bug that never seems to erase the little red "1" over it) but it does help to check up on things when I am away from the laptop so, I like it, dont love it, but I like it xD

Used to work. Now it wont show my watches or will let me watch the people I want. Just got my favorites to work again but probably wont work long. Comments arent working and I cant get any notifications.

Ive been apart of dA some the beginning (joined in 2002). This app, well it has some decent qualities this notification issue is why I have to uninstall. It states I have a message despite clearing everything and I even uninstalled and reinstalled.

The app does its basic functions, but long literature posts are often cut off and the app prevents me from scrolling farther through the story. Also, there is no access to groups.

Its a nice app but there are several issues. I.E the notification 1 not going away. Id add an add media feature alone with a poll viewer and llama notifications.

Good but wish I could buy core with iTunes, not sure if there is a way but didnt see it

when I first got the app on my iPad mini, it worked great! everything did! the notifications, the notes, no lagging whatsoever! after my friend and I started to exchange tons and tons of notes, it started to lag. typing would be slower than normal. after a little while of that, I started to send notes through the website via Safari. after a little while of that, THE WEBSITE started to lag big time. it wouldnt even display the notes! and recently, Ive deleted and redownloaded the app, ONLY TO FIND OUT THE LAGS WERE WORSE. it doesnt even display what I type anymore! you need to fix this immediately.

I used to love Deviantart but now it wont let me into the app. So how I knew this is because I was going to the app but it wasnt on my home screen, so then I searched for it in the App Store but it wont let me press "Open app"

Has great potential but with current errors and missing features it leaves a lot to be desired. Would be nice if they could fix the error of notifications showing up for eternity after receiving one. As well itd be amazing if you could actually remove submissions from your inbox so we could all actually go through our messages.
